Precision Health & Wellness:
EpigeneticsRx, a Case Study in Personalized Health and Patient Empowerment
Wednesday, April 21st, 2021 @ 5:30pm PST (1.5 hours)
Meeting info provided upon registration.
Join the MIT Enterprise Forum San Diego on April 21st as we present an intriguing Personalized Medicine Case Study. Debra Hubers, CEO and Founder of EpigeneticsRx, will present her business case for investment to a panel that includes a fellow entrepreneur, life science investor, and healthcare and health policy executive.
EpigeneticsRX is a San Diego based start-up that has developed a Personalized Medicine Platform that combines testing, personalized formulations, and a premium health and wellness membership concept. This unique combination has the potential to empower both patients and providers to turn a patient’s personal DNA profile into actionable health plans customized to optimize results. If successful, a Personalized Medicine market opportunity greater than $5 trillion awaits, but with plenty of competition of all types.
Questions and challenges remain as always. The Panel, in this case acting as a Board of Directors, will explore these challenges, such as:
- How best to scale the business given its unique B:B:C business model?
- How to drive adoption?
- To what extent could this or should this be an “out licensing play”?
- Is the investment ask appropriate given the competitive landscape?
Join the MITEF San Diego on April 21st for what will prove to be an enlightening discussion!
