Jamie Moyer, Professional Baseball Player

Jamie Moyer is a former Major League Baseball player, World Series Championship and Hall of Famer (Mariners). Over his 25-year career, Moyers pitched for eight MLB teams and set myriad of records.  At the time of his final game, he was the oldest player in the major leagues and had the most wins, losses, and strikeouts of any active MLB pitcher. Moyer is one of only 29 players in baseball history to date to have appeared in MLB games in four decades. At the time of his retirement, Moyer had faced 8.9% of all MLB hitters ever.  Moyer is active in philanthropy and community service and was awarded Roberto Clemente Award, the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award, the Hutch Award, and the Branch Rickey Award.

Steve Becvar, Executive Director, ALS Association

Prior to his work as the Executive Director of the ALS Association Greater San Diego Chapter, Steve Becvar was the Associate Director of Athletics for Marketing and Sponsorship’s at the University of San Diego.  Becvar served as the executive associate Athletic director and general manager of Aztec Sports Properties at San Diego State University from 2003-2008. He oversaw the Aztecs’ marketing and corporate sales efforts, along with media relations, facilities and the operations departments. From April through July of 2005, Becvar served as the interim athletics director at SDSU. From 2001-2003, Becvar was the director of Sponsorship and Corporate Sales for the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies, where he navigated the team’s corporate relations efforts by sparking local community involvement and transitioning the team’s relocation from Vancouver. He was a key figure in laying the groundwork for the XFL’s Memphis Maniax during the team’s inaugural 2000-01 campaign as the vice president of sales and marketing. In this role, Becvar oversaw many of the team’s daily operations, including hiring staff, managing the budget, negotiating business contracts and developing facilities.

Shelly Callahan, Marketing Director, Mitchell International

Shelley Callahan is the Marketing Director for the Pharmacy Solutions division at Mitchell International. Callahan is responsible for strategy and execution on marketing initiatives and oversees the marketing of three product lines. Prior to Mitchell, Callahan was the Vice President of Marketing for Advanced Particle Therapy, a proton therapy development company for cancer treatment centers where she worked in collaboration with brands such as Scripps Health, Emory University and the University of Maryland Medical System. For nearly twenty years, Callahan has been helping companies and clients achieve their business goals through branding, digital and traditional marketing. Her expertise extends to a variety of verticals including healthcare, high-tech, biotech, financial services and sports.
